【摘要】:TheTypeSpitottube(Fig.1)isoftenusedtomeasurethevelocityofflowinggasstreamsinindustrialsmokestacksandducts.BeforeaTypeSpitottubeisusedforthispurpose,itscoefficientsmustbedeterminedbycalibrationagainstastandardpitottube(2).1.1ThispracticecoversthedeterminationofTypeSpitottubecoefficientsinthegasvelocityrangefrom305to1524m/minor5.08to25.4m/s(1000to5000ft/min).ThemethodappliesbothtothecalibrationofisolatedTypeSpitottubes(see5.1),andpitobeassemblies.1.2ThispracticeoutlinesproceduresforobtainingTypeSpitottubecoefficientsbycalibrationatasingle-velocitysettingnearthemidpointofthenormalworkingrange.TypeSpitotcoefficientsobtainedbythismethodwillgenerallybevalidtowithinx00B1;3%overthenormalworkingrange.IfamoreprecisecorrelationbetweenTypeSpitottubecoefficientandvelocityisdesired,multivelocitycalibrationtechnique(AnnexA1)shouldbeused.ThecalibrationcoefficientsdeterminedfortheTypeSpitottubebythispracticedonotapplyinfieldusewhentheflowisnonaxialtothefaceofthetube.1.3Thispracticemaybeusedforthecalibrationofthermalanemometersforgasvelocitiesinexcessof3m/s(10ft/s).1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
